DESIGN AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Manage all professional consultancies required to deliver the project to ensure all objectives are met, a coordinated approach is undertaken for the timely delivery of these services.
- Review the design documentation to ensure it meets the project brief and can be delivered within the project parameters.
- Manage all consultancies required to prepare any necessary reports and all statutory planning and development requirements and submissions.
- Procure all relevant approvals relating to the project.
- Manage all Development and Building approval conditions throughout the life cycle of the project.
- Prepare, maintain and update a Monthly Project Report including contract value, claims and payments schedule, notices, instructions, program updates and completion date, variations, general project status and site issues, photographs etc.
- Review contractual obligations and suitable contract templates In conjunction with the Client.
- As necessary liaise with Company Lawyer, for clarification and direction about legal aspects.
- Attend project meetings, providing assistance and input in relation to all design, contractual and construction issues and risks to ensure the effective implementation of systems and processes to prevent any negative impact on the project or the Client.
- Preparation of a Management Plan outlining the project objectives, budget limits and time restraints, project teams roles and responsibilities, project strategies and milestones.
- Recommend and work with the Client on an overall procurement strategy which will ensure achievement of time, cost and quality objectives.
- Manage key stakeholders for the achievement of the project objectives within overall budget limits and timeframes.

TIME, RISK AND COST MANAGMENT
- Prepare an overall Project Scheduling System for the development including approvals, design, documentation, construction and commissioning.
- Review and monitor the Contractor's construction program.
- Prepare a time management report for the project on a monthly basis including an updated schedule tracking actual progress and forecasting critical path activities to completion.
- Early input to identify and manage all risks associated with the project and put forward strategies for risk mitigation.
- Cost management to prepare budget estimates, and to review against pre-tender estimates, tender estimates, trade and contract letting, variations estimates, costs and cash flows.
- Prepare the monthly and final claim certifications including all consultancy and contractor claims.
- Arrange for preparation of a cost management report.
- Continual management of the design and construction activities to ensure the project is on track to be delivered within budget.
