  Trent Rowell has been engaged on several residential development projects funded by GPS since August 2018 in the capacity of Project Manager on distressed developments which require close contact and ongoing development management.

Trent was initially engaged by GPS on a multi-unit development located in close proximity to Brisbane CBD. His role was to assist the Developer with the appointment of a new Builder, obtain the relevant development and building approvals, and bring the project back on track. Trent’s vast experience in the building and construction industry became very evident, and his competencies were able to save the Developer both time and money, and will now see the development through to completion.

Trent is also engaged on a luxury house development where two previous builders had removed themselves from the project. Initially, Trent was engaged to assist an inexperienced Developer and their small team to coordinate trades and assist with completing the project in a cost-effective manner. Due to the Developers inexperience and inability to engage trades, Trent was then appointed as the Builder by GPS and works recommenced on site within a week with completion expected within four (4) weeks. Trent worked patiently with the Developer in order to obtain owner supplied items and details of previously engaged contractors in order to complete both remediation of defective works and the remaining construction in a cost effective and timely manner. Overall, Trent’s management skills on this project was the key reason for its completion. Trent displayed the skills of a capable Project Manager and I would recommend his services to any Developer looking to add value to their project through a tightly managed program.
